Local Thanksgiving Turkeys from Steep Hill - Order by Oct 4

It’s that turkey time of the year and Steep Hill Food Co-op has two options for you! 🦃

Colourful fall leaves and pumpkins form a border around a cartoon turkey and a message to Reserve Your Turkey Today!

  1. Original Family Farm will have a brined turkey this year. Their turkeys will be between 5-7 KG (11-15.4 lb) and you’ll have the option to pick them up thawed or frozen. There will be a LIMITED NUMBER of these brined turkeys available, and they will be on a first come, first served basis.

  2. Regular turkeys will be available from Golden View Colony outside of Biggar. These turkeys are free-range, antibiotic free, and grain fed. We’ll ask you for your preferred weight range at time of ordering and our supplier will do their best to supply us with turkeys that fall within that range.

    Both options will be $14.50/kg ($6.58/lb) and there is a non-negotiable $60 deposit to be paid at the time of the reservation.

Steep Hill will also have other Thanksgiving dinner menu items for your table. We’ll have local potatoes, onions, carrots, fresh herbs (dill, thyme, parsley, etc.), everything for salads, pie pumpkins, along with organic stuffing and gravy mix, as well as a tofurky option.
